The Shipshewana Trading Place Auction & Flea Market was established in 1922 and is now home of the Midwest’s largest flea market, boasting nearly 900 booths. The Flea Market is open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am – 5 pm, from the first week in May through the last week in September.Make Shipshewana Flea Market a centerpiece of your Shipshewana vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Shipshewana trip planner.
There is a new "Shipshewana Across the Road" Indoor Market open every Friday and Saturday, October 6 - December 16, 2017 from 10am - 5 pm.
Visitors can also enjoy the weekly Antique & Miscellaneous Auction (Wednesdays at 9 am). Eat great food at the Auction Restaurant and can stay overnight at the Farmstead Inn, our Amish-inspired hotel.

Not like the old flea markets

I went last week on Wednesday. It was free parking and free admission up until Memorial Day. Then they start charging admission and parking. It was about 3/4 full with sellers which made it worth it to me. Not alot of people shopping when I was there so I could take my time. My suggestion would be there's a few more days to visit before they start charging admission so go on one of those days and use the money your saving and buy something from inside. Overall, it was a good time and everyone should experience it at least once.
