  • This is the best beach I've ever visited. We make it a priority when we're in Florida. My nephew, who had never visited, said "Oh my god, this is sick!! Unbelievable!" (sick=amazing)  more »
  • The sand, it's like silk in between your toes. The sunsets are unbelievable. What an amazing place to enjoy nature!  more »
  • I’ve been to Siesta Key and this beach at SK specifically a couple of times now, and it’s definitely one of my favorite beaches/ areas in all of Florida! (and I’ve seen a lot of FL) The sand is absolutely marvelous, it’s bright white and so soft it feels like you’re walking on a plush carpet- and that’s no exaggeration. The water is SO clear- I mean for real, Clearwater Beach you got some serious competition, I mean you can literally see your feet walking through the water and all the little fish swimming around, it’s so cool. Now, this beach can get insanely busy. I went there on a Saturday and by 1pm it was packed more than I thought possible. But this being said, the beach is so big that we were all still able to distance pretty well, yeah there were loads of people but it didn’t feel suffocating or anything like that, and this is coming from an introvert who doesn’t like big crowds. There are tons of little spiral shells all along the beach, I literally found several handfuls. And nothing to be alarmed about, but there are some jellyfish in the water. I actually didn’t notice them at first until someone said something- they are small, not even baseball sized and clearer than the water, they look like little plastic bags floating in the water. And I brushed up against a bunch of them and never felt anything, so I wouldn’t worry about getting stung. Just something to be aware of! They have all the amenities you could need too- bathrooms, rinse stations, and even a small restaurant right on the beach to grab a bite. Overall this beach is just incredible and the whole Siesta Key area is such a dream, I can’t even highly recommend enough visiting at least once!!
  • I just moved to Tampa from Ohio, but decided to just drive to Sarasota and stuffi it being super hot, we ended up at Siesta Key Beach. It's absolutely beautiful. It wasn't crowded like I thought it would be. The sand is white and super soft to walk on. I love how there is a trail to the actual beach and not just walking through sand to get to the water(its a far walk from the parking lot). Tye water is a beautiful teal color.
