  This park is named for a very large arrowhead shaped quarry where the native rosy quartzite is mined. The park is filled with wildlife especially birds and has a large number of trails to use. Some.....  more »

  The views of the prairie, farmland, arboretum, & general landscape are wonderful. The 1888 renovated barn is in great shape. Bring your camera for the wildlife also. Watch for the frogs in one...  more »

  Paved walking trails, plenty of shade and sunshine. There is an unpaved hiking trail that goes off into the trees that is really cool. We saw ducks and geese in the quarries, and a huge bull snake. Cool park!
