Proxy Falls, also known as Lower Proxy Falls, is a cascade and plunge waterfall from a collection of springs on the shoulder of North Sister, that plunges into a gaping canyon near McKenzie Pass in the Willamette National Forest, near Belknap Springs, Oregon. The waterfall is notable for its main drop of 226 feet (69 m) which makes it one of the highest plunge waterfalls in Oregon.

  • We came on Thursday, July 22 at around noon. The drive to Proxy Falls is beautiful, lined with trees on both sides. This trail is not difficult. It is a 1.6 mile loop and took us 1.5 hours and we.....  more »

  • Beautiful and short trail if you are looking for a causal quick hike. It’s kids and pet friendly, not much of an elevation gain so it’s suitable for people of all ages. Definitely recommend at least one visit if you are in central Oregon area.
  • I stashed a sweatshirt behind a large dead tree along the lava field to lower falls. Unfortunately we looped back the other way. If anyone sees it, say hi for me!😆
