  • Great excursion! The train cars appear to be brand new and well maintained. There is a stove in each car to heat it if necessary. There is also a bathroom and water. You can either view from your seat or go outside to the viewing platform. Due to covid border restrictions, the train is currently only doing round-trip journeys to the Canadian border in 2022. The views are amazing and you are given great historical information as you travel. The track is also very well maintained and you can see evidence of constant work and upgrades.
  • We had a great time riding this train up through the mountain passes and enjoyed all the scenic vistas. The narrative was informative but sometimes difficult to hear over the click and clack of the track. The train loops at the summit so both sides get different views. Well worth it!
