  • Visited today for about 3 hours. The Holocaust memorial exhibit was powerful and the artifacts, including the old train car, speak volumes. The virtual reality experience was chilling, as it takes you through parts of Auschwitz with a survivor telling her story. I recommend anyone in the area (or tourists visiting Chicago) spend a few hours here.
  • Very informative and an educative museum. Walking one through the timeline from the beginning (dark side) to the end (bright side) of holocaust. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff lead the learning passage through ! The entire museum is architecturally, conceptually and contentswise very innovatively and nicely structured. Every aspect of the museum is informative and conveys the strong messages "Take a Stand" and "Rise Up" - A teaching from the "painful" history. Hologram theater highlights the interactive conversation with the holocaust survivors. Rotating special exhibit is also very impressive! Very good learning center for everyone and especially for the students. Museum is located in a peaceful place.
