  • Had a very nice stay in one of the mini cabins. They sleep 4 in 2 bunk beds and you are allowed to have a tent with a total of 8 people on site. During our visit thete was a burn ban so you were not allowed to cook in the provided charcoal grill. We brought a small electric oven and a single electric burner. Lots of places to hike. Canoes to rent at $10 an hour. They have a 24 acre community lake where you can fish without a license. The headquarters sells night crawlers, ice, drinks and ice cream. They offer walk in tent camping, drive up tent camping, RV full hookups, small cabins, screened in structures, and one large group site with its own bathrooms and pavilion.
  • Lovely quiet state park with a great place to go fishing. Recently it has rained too much and the lake was full of weeds so my husband had to rent a canoe to fish. We plan to go again in a few months when the weather gets cool.
