  • Our favorite resort in Utah. Quiet, never a long lift line and they have Link lift (the best lift for children). Our son is 3 and loves solitude. It's a friendly ski resort they caters to families. Th...  more »

  • Had my first snowboarding experience here! I've had two beginner snowboarding lessons that resulted in me being able to tackle the mountain all on my own. The instructors are very personable and patient while you learn the basics. Their version of a bunny hill, "Easy Street", is the perfect starter hill to hone your technique. Aside from beginner stuff, their runs are well maintained and the lodge serves good food. They have a pub as well which serves only beer.
  • Pretty flat resort. If you are doing laps on anything steep, you either hiked to it, have to hike out of it, or took a series of flat lifts to make it work. Nice tree runs though. Followed by hiking. If this resort was in Vermont, I'd give it 4 or 5 stars. But it's the next canyon up from Snowbird and Alta, which are 5-star places. Also there is a weird "Snowboarders ruin my perfect skier life" vibe that I've only seen at Telluride in the past 20 years.
