Quicksilver Ranch, Solvang

Beautiful and picturesque! This has been one of our pit stops every time we're in SYV. You can park and take a stroll through the ranch. They have restrooms inside the barn and if you're lucky you'll catch an adorable mini horse being bathed. There is no fee, I highly encourage you to bring cash to deposit into one of their donation boxes.

This is a mini horse ranch that lets you visit and walk around free of charge. Most the horses ignore you but some come up to the fence and let you pet them. While we were there a staff was washing two horses and sharing information with visitors. If you are in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.
