Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards, Sonoma

We came September 4, 2022. We did not have a reservation (you should get a reservation, that'll give you better service). We were able to get a spot at the bar. See wine prices per glass / bottle attached, we also got a cheese platter. It was great, very tasty and fresh food options. Really liked the food, purchased Blanc de Blancs sparking wine. Very satisfied with what we could get without reservation. Will get a reservation next time to have a table with a view and nicer experience. It's a good idea to get to the place earlier because at 3 pm we literally got the last cheese platter, so food was scarce. Will definitely be coming back.

Our host Victor was excellent. He is down to earth and shares good insights on the wines. The winery is beautiful and we were fortunate to have a table overlooking the magnificent views. The staff is friendly and pleasant. We booked the classic tasting, then 2 of us upgraded to the next level tasting so we had a nice selection. The experience is very commercial so be prepared. There lots of tables and you can expect a crowd. We tasted in Napa and Sonoma and this was by far the largest and most commercial. I was surprised after ordering a case they did not waive even one tasting fee- be prepared. We liked the wines (as noted by ordering a case!) but they should waive if you order like that.
