  • When looking for a great beach and area to explore on the shore of Lake Tahoe, visit Lakeside Beach! Easy parking, a great area to walk with plenty of beach and "hopefully" warmer water! LOL Enjoy!

  • We went kayaking on the beach today and it was very very nice. The beach is pretty except the sand is fake. I would have loved to see some sand I almost hurt my feet while walking on the fake sand...

  • I really enjoyed this place. Yea there is a fee during certain times but it was clean, beautiful sand/water, amazing views and close to the main street with restaurants, casinos, etc. Very walkable which is a huge plus for me. I was even able to find a place to park my RV right by the beach while visiting (however my RV is a small 26 footer and I didn't try to stay overnight). I also think it's really cool how half the area is in Nevada and half is in California. I know I'm silly but, hey...you gotta enjoy the simple things in life.
  • There is a $25 PER PERSON fee to enter, could be less if you are staying at a participating hotel. The benefit of this fee is that they limit attendance, so the beach isn't crowded. Also the beach is clean and well located near other activities and restaurants. There is a restaurant on site that looks good, but we didn't eat there. Parking is free, but somewhat limited.
