  • This place is truly a hidden gem in South Lake Tahoe. The grounds are beautifully kept and house three estates with some really interesting history. I have been going to Tahoe my whole life and had never visited here before. I'm so glad we did. The only downside is that there is pretty limited parking, but otherwise you will not be disappointed.
  • The Tallac Historic Site is an amazing place to visit in SouthWest Lake Tahoe. The area is part of the national forest and is on federal land so it is free to access. The historic buildings are beautiful and located just feet away from Lake Tahoe. It is an enjoyable area to walk around with plenty of trails and public beaches to access. Great place to spend a few hours or half a day at.
