  • It is worth reaching this site, especially for the nice walk that you can do (we have basically skirted the lake starting from the Visitor center and then following the Lake of the Sky Trail). There is not only the historical part but also nature and some pleasant meeting with small wildlife.

  • I absolutely loved this place this is state was very nice there are several things to see I bet you can probably see more if there isn't any snow however it was beautiful because everything was covered in snow you got to go on the dock what used to be their dock or pier and it was covered with snow but it was beautiful you had a great view of the mountains covered in snow and the top of The Boathouse and the Cottages what's no a lot of people come here to walk and they also bring their dogs if you do bring your best friends with you please be sure to pick up after them and take it with you please don't leave it behind. There aren't Mini heels or anything like that but there is a lot of walking involved because there are several things to see so bring some comfortable shoes if it's sunny a hat because the sun is very strong here you feel nice and warm but before you know it you will be sunburned. And also if it is not sunny and make sure you bring a very warm jacket and a beanie because it does get quite cold I had to park the car away at the gate because the road was closed due to the snow. It was I think a little over a mile maybe..
  • An absolutely gorgeous place to go walking. It's full of interesting historical facts and buildings, and it's right on the lake. I've been coming here for 25+ years. My parents brought the family here a couple of times a year and now I like to do the same with my family. If you're looking for a nice easy hiking spot for the kids, this is a good one to try.
