We did the Ghost Fleet cruise as we love history. Turns out my husband served on one of the liberty ships that may have been built here. Very cool and great trip.

Great quiet park with lots of trees in camping areas plus educational opportunities from the Battle of Fort Blakeley. Tent camped at site B1 and it was very private plus lovely tree coverage. Also toured the Battleground and town remnants which was very informative. Did not hike much as the bugs were a bit crazy. Overall definitely recommended for a few nights stay or a stop if passing through!!

I have loved this park since I was a kid. I wish I had kids I could take through this beautiful place. It's like time wants to forget,so Nature takes over and covers the ugliness of what happened so lo g ago. It was a beautiful town. And now it's a beautiful park.
