  • We loved this park! We just happened upon it while visiting the area. We didn’t even plan to go. But we ended up spending several hours here wading and swimming in the river. What a beautiful...

  • Awesome park with great trails and views. Fun place to swim and ride bikes as well. RV pads are getting a little worn but the pad sites are very unique with the natural rock and trees, just make sure you bring enough light to carefully traverse your site at night. Easily the nicest restrooms I've seen in a Texas park and they are air conditioned! I would recommend this place for a day visit and overnight.
  • This campground is pretty awesome. Some sites are more secluded than others. There are a variety of trails, quite a few on the north side of the river. We discovered some hidden gem scenery areas on this trip. The park and river are pretty clean as well, which was something we found off putting at McKinney Falls. The day use area is also quite nice. While there was the occasional jet overflight, there was no external traffic noise, just the noise of cars entering the park. We went during the week, so there weren't a lot of people... Perfect for getting your Zen on.
