  • Wow this place is incredible! Not too far from Madison. They have a little shop to buy gifts and a stand for food and drinks. The outdoor theatre itself is beautiful. It’s set in the woods. A must go to if you’re near Madison in the summer! I saw Sense and Sensibility at around 7:30pm on a weekday(great time to go if you don’t mind staying up a bit late). The evening is a wonderful time to see a play since it’s not too hot and the coolness of the evening makes things more enjoyable:) bug spray provided. Very wheelchair accessible (take the bus and they will drop you right off at the theatre).
  • A truly amazing experience. to sit outdoors at the hill theatre. The picnic areas where clean and quaint, the food and drink selections where great. This was by far the best performance. The last thirty minutes of Hamlet was rained out and we were immediately rescheduled to another play of our choosing. I recommend leaving enough time to enjoy a picnic before the show.
