Spring Green General Store, Spring Green

So quaint and cozy but still had a lovely Saturday morning busyness to it. We got the horse radish radish scramble (really good and just a hint of the horse radish), Jimmy Dean scramble, a quesodilla cinnamon today, tea and coffee and all of it was delicious. Fair prices, quick service, and inside a lovely boutique style shop.

Seriously one of the best breakfasts ever. Had home fries, scrambled eggs, and blueberry and pecan pancakes. Stabbing the potatoes I thought they were going to be undercooked, but they were amazing; it must have been the potato choice. They were perfectly cooked and delightful. The eggs were also perfectly cooked and had herbs/chives or something in them giving them great flavor. The pancakes were the singularly best pancakes I’ve ever had. If you want pancakes with some toppings, these ARENT FOR YOU. The pancakes are about 25% toppings baked into the cakes. It was amazing how many blueberries and pecans they give you. They aren’t skimpy with their ingredients or portion sizes. The staff is super friendly. It’s 45 minutes from me but I will certainly go out of my way to go back. Their general store has a great assortment of textiles, kitchenware, and puzzles and games. Great collection of Charley Harper puzzles.
