An engineering feat, the architecture of The House on the Rock integrates each room into and around a tower of rock. "The Infinity Room" extends 66 m (218 ft) without any supports underneath for its 3,000-plus windows. The house began as a vision of the owner, Alex Jordan, in 1945, and additions were made to the original house over the years. Jordan's curious collections complement the quirky architecture. You'll spot a re-creation of an early 20th-century American town, plus a giant sculpture of a sea creature. Put a coin in to hear and see the automaton room of instruments in action. Wow, this place is pretty amazing. The price seems a little high, until you get inside and spend time in the sections/areas of the facility. The house is a modern marvel in my opinion, and the work of a genius, really. There are so many displays here, and all of the musical organs are really neat. Some take up a whole wall. The merry-go round is nothing short of majestic. I didn't go through all of the sections due to time, or lack of interest. But still spent a couple of hours easily there. I'd like to go back and spend more time there & take a little more time walking through some of the areas.

It will take 4 hours to visit all sections. Huge collection of different exhibits and replicas. Kids will like the Carousel (exhibit only) and toys/doll houses. Some places are dark and pose accessibility issues as mentioned in their website. Infinity room is nice but blocked half way.
