Beautiful inside and out. Beautiful mass. Not sure why anyone would give less stars. I was just so happy to have attended a mass in this amazing church.

Spectacular Roman Baroque church by architect Horace Trumbauer (1868-1938) built in 1901. The church was commissioned by the Marquis Maloney as a memorial for his teenage daughter Catherine who died from tuberculosis in 1900. The interior murals were painted by Gonippo Raggi (1875-1959) from Rome whose funeral was held in this church and who was also in charge of the interior decoration of the Newark cathedral. Gorgeous inside and outside.

As beautiful a church as you may see in the USA. Built in 1901, and sitting aside Spring Lake, and a beautiful park. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
