Zion Outfitter Reviews

A cruiser is actually not a climbing bike, but the ride of about 10 km to end Canyon (to the Narrows) is fine to do. In the beginning a bit of climbing, but then nice flat. Tired? Bike in front of the bus! It is really recommended to go into the canyon by bike. Better than packed in crowded buses. Nice hosts (mostly summer forces). Tip: From the shop take the pedestrians road and not the motorway. You can then enter the park (entrance fee or with your annual pass inward. Cycling: Just do it!
This was a great place to rent gear for hiking the Narrows. Their location was conveniently located a short distance from the entrance of the park. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The money we spent for shoes, socks and poles was worth every penny!!!!! I absolutely would not walk the Narrows without this gear. The shoes support the ankles, and the poles are a MUST for keeping balance. My boys thought the shoes were uncool at first, but after we got there, they were so happy they had them. I also rented the dry pants, which were awesome! Totally recommend!!!!!!!!
This is where you get your gear for your hike depending on where you are going for the day. You can buy gear and outfits like sweaters or walking sticks. You can rent or buy items here. Remember to get the proper gear for your hike. If you are doing the narrows hike, it is suggested to rent water shoes and a walking stick. The mist outside the store is very helpful in the hot heat.
