Take an underground journey to see and touch the majestic geological features of Fantastic Caverns. Since its discovery in 1862, the cave has had a dynamic history. During prohibition it was used as a speakeasy, and later as a concert venue. Today it's a major attraction that draws more than 100,000 visitors every year. Taking a tour of the cave doesn't require any walking, making it especially convenient for small children and seniors. You can see the entire cave from the comfort of a jeep-drawn tram hosted by a tour guide. At certain spots, you are allowed to touch the stalactites. The temperature inside the cave is a steady 15 degrees C (60 degrees F) throughout the year, so you might want to bring a light jacket or a sweater. Loved every minute! Great guides and other workers! Interesting guide, was very kind with our 9 year old grandson, and he was thrilled with the experience.

Such a great tour. The caverns are beautiful but what made the difference was the tour guides. They were fun and engaging. Many interesting stories of the cave history. They really do a great job. You’re driven through the cavern (very tight and low at some points) so it’s quite the adventure but easy to enjoy.
Best place to visit and with a lot of history. The tour is in a jeep ride so anyone can visit the cavern, enjoy this natural beauty without any difficulties. The tour is 55 minutes long at nice 60 degrees. They also provide a group photo as part of the tour at no additional cost. Beautiful place and highly recommended. It is open most of the year. You and your family will not regret it.
