  • I've always loved this park, and it's just gotten better with time. They've made a new walking path around the pond, which is lovely and leads over to a waterfall, that is pretty cool to see. There are three bridges, geese and ducks, as well as a cave system. The cave is often closed, for the preservation and protection of the bats that live inside of it. Bathrooms were unlocked this last time we went, and were clean and well kept up, and well stocked with toilet paper, soap, and good running water, and a dryer. The bike path leads both North and South, for miles. This is a gem of a park in Springfield. Definitely highly recommend.
  • We love parks. We frequent them a lot in our hometown and across the country as we travel. They're always great for a short walk with the dogs or to picnic. This park was amazingly beautiful! We saw a family getting professional holiday photos here so you know it's a good spot. We walked around the water. There's a waterfall. We enjoyed the pretty and peaceful water. We hiked up to higher ground a little. There's a cave here but we didn't find it, didn't really look tho. Certain times of the year it's closed.
