Beautiful and convenient to Springfield ! We enjoyed a long walk with various flora and animals. There is also interesting nature center with friendly staff.

Beautiful trails. I spent 6 weeks in Springfield for school and came here to walk almost every day. The trails are well maintained. I could easily walk 3 or 4 miles without feeling like I was walking in circles. I always felt safe walking alone. Great place to take photos.

Very well kept and lovely trails here. Lots of shade too so you don't get too hot from the sun. Be mindful of ticks and mosquitoes (especially this close to the water) lots of trail lengths for any kind of outing. Lots of hills on the trails so be mindful of that on your way. Parking is strange but there are lots of spaces so hopefully you'll have no trouble getting a good spot. The picture included is one of the many turtles my wife and I saw on our outing. Enjoy the trails!
