This location of Ripley's Believe It Or Not is the first permanent exhibit of the uncommon Ripley's collection. The franchise, founded by Robert Ripley, began as a comic panel illustrating unusual facts. The company evolved into a chain of museums, starting with this one, a year after Ripley's death. Opened in 1950, the museum houses more than 800 exhibits of wacky and strange items, including some of Ripley's own original collection. Inside you'll find shrunken heads; a stuffed, six-legged cow; and a bone motorcycle. Bring your camera to capture photos of these and many more bizarrely fascinating displays. I have never been to one. It was fascinating. I can mark that off my bucket list. The castle is beautiful and the history behind it is wonderful. Ripleys first museum.

We did the combo of the train tour and the museum. It was a good deal. My 12 yr old son thought the museum was interesting. The train tour was a little over an hour and we saw a lot of the city...

We just moved to Saint Augustine and today we started sight seeing. My children begged me to take them to Ripley's Believe it Or Not. I will say this has to be one of the most interesting places in town to visit. The displays are so unique and my children enjoyed the interactive experience. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting or just moved here . We can't wait to go again. The parking was easy and access was close to the building. This is a great place for a family to visit
Last time I was here I was 10; no I'm here again at 27 and I can honestly say things have aged well and also been updated in certain areas! My husband and I did the museum/ghost tour/mini golf package and we found it well worth it! The museum is full of old and new classics (the wax figures are much more realistic than I remember...😱😬 creepy.) And the ghost tour was very cool and informative with just the right amount of spookiness! Definitely fun for the family!
