I was excited for this place mostly because I figured my son would enjoy it. But it ended up being one of my favorite places we went! I was impressed with how much they packed into what seemed like a compact space from the outside. We got tickets online and it was easy to check in. The exhibits and collections were top notch and very informative. There were a lot of neat interactive elements too, including a scavenger hunt for the kids that was actually quite fun and challenging (though not too bad). There's a little room where you can hear a 3-minute audio show and they make the benches move and it's really fun! Cute gift shop with reasonable prices and a unique selection. Definitely stop in!

Our family had an excellent time at the Pirate and Treasure Museum! We were there on a Friday afternoon and had pre-purchased tickets. Check-in ran smoothly. They have a scavenger hunt, which my family thoroughly enjoyed, and since we found everything we received "pirate treasure" at the end. The back of the map also included some fun games to fill in as you go through the museum. It wasn't overly crowded and everyone respected each other's space. Fun and interesting information!
