Is well worth the visit! Thanks It is not just one museum as we had thought but a collection of museums and a lighthouse that had been moved to the museum grounds. The lighthouse is really special as you can walk up the spiral staircase inside and they have the living quarters and personal belongings of the person that manned the lighthouse just as they had been long ago. The museums are fantastic with many old wooden fishing & crabbing boats with a short description on the history of each. There are many other very interesting artifacts from the fishing and crabbing days on the Chesapeake Bay and a real working boatyard where you can actually see wooden boats being built. If you are in Annapolis there is a ferry from Annapolis to the museum. If you are visiting the Chesapeake Bay area you do not want to miss this museum & lighthouse.
I was there for the Sea Glass Festival. It was a beautiful day, good entertainment, and a good variety of vendors. Food and water ran low during the afternoon and the food lines were long and slow moving. It was the first time at this venue, I'm sure it will improve.
