  • Be sure you have enough time to enjoy this huge collection of American art. Most of the art is traditional painting and sculpture. It depicts the American west, Native Americans and frontier cowboy...

  • What an amazing place! The building and art on display are wonderful and we very much enjoyed our docent led tour by David Dean. He was so informative and it was obvious he has a sincere passion...

  • Went on $10 Tuesdays and it was such a fun way to spend an afternoon. Beautiful collection of art and sculptures. We easily spent about 2 hours just browsing the different galleries in the museum. I had no idea it was such a huge collection. Loved the placards next to the art pieces with the info and history of it. The bronze sculptures have so much detail, it was so cool to see them all up close. Easy metered parking right out front on a Tuesday. Museum staff were friendly.
  • The artwork was stunning. We were able to visit for free thanks to our local library. Otherwise, it could add up depending on your party size. I'm pretty sure they had discounts but you'd have to look them up. My 14 and 7-year-old boys enjoyed looking at everything. Parking was inexpensive and right around the corner from the museum. It is definitely worth the visit.
