  • Harrah's is getting a mixed review this time and I'm going to give some suggestions that might be helpful to first timers. The manager Cyndi Dillard was great! She excellently handled and fixed an issue with our room but the rest of the staff could have been much more polite and courteous. I was not happy with the level of service and rudeness.... I usually don't complain but it really was not good. It's a nice hotel and it's in a great location for skiing, shopping, restaurants and shuttles but the casino level still smells like smoke. They need to do something about that. I would have gambled more if it didn't. Also, the ski rentals in the hotel were terrible. They fitted us and 3 out the 5 were the wrong size and made the first day of skiing terrible for us. We returned them after one day and went to Heavenly Sports instead. I suggest renting your ski stuff from Heavenly Sports.... They did a much better job and we didn't have to lug our stuff back and forth because you could leave them right there at the base of the mountain and pick them up the next day.
