Steamboat is the gold standard for US ski resorts. It has enough altitude and location to get great snow and has a massively developed resort to ensure there are hills for all levels of skiing. This is known as Ski Town USA for a reason. The hill is a short free bus ride from anywhere, there are plenty of hotels to choose from, and the vibe is incredible. If you have an Icon pass the this is a must. My favorite ski hill
Getting our dollar’s worth on our Ikon Pass. Spring skiing Utah and now Colorado. Love Steamboat. Lots of runs to choose from. We like Blue and Diamond runs. Not too many Diamonds as the snow is melting, but a great hill regardless. Great ski town vibe with lots of shops, places to eat and lounge. Park and get the shuttle.
