The Dillon Home, built in 1858, is a work of Italianate Architecture filled with treasures, virtually un-touched by time. Home to P.W. Dillon, owner of Northwestern Steel and Wire, the homes’ grandeur is a remarkable sight, as his wife was an avid collector of eclectic pieces from around the world and period furniture. Tours are on the hour during regular business hours, or by private group reservation.

  • I highly recommend visiting for a tour. The Curator Erin is fantastic! I’ve personally had this tour twice. I’m sure I’ll be back, just to visit! You might even get lucky and show up on a Free Day...

  • My husband and I went on the house tour and we were shown around by the curator Erin. She was the absolute BEST guide. She was so fun and knowledgeable! I honestly can't wait to go back!

  • We had a wonderful visit today and it happened to be a free day! The guide is very welcoming and friendly. The house and grounds are in amazing shape, cool antiques inside that takes you back in time. This place is highly recommended if you are visiting town, there is also a steam engine train in the rear yard that is super cool as well.
