  • Excellent well groomed hiking trails. Clean restrooms. Swings on a couple of the trails. Great Halloween Pumpkin Walk in the fall.

  • Summer 2020- Highly suggest the Frog Chorus & Lake Joanis Loop Trail! ♥️ Spring 2021- I had to stop to share my experience yesterday after renting a canoe through their program. We priced all over, different cities, different bodies of water, different rental services & this is BY FAR the cheapest. You pay $15 for one canoe & $10 for each additional. You get the canoe for the ENTIRE day. Other places we priced required you were with a guide, it was a 2.5 hour endeavor & they wanted like $85 altogether. Your life jackets & oars are included for ALL passengers through Schmeeckle. We will most definitely be using this service again! I can’t wait until it’s Autumn & the leaves are changing colors to come paddle the lake especially! Can’t beat that price.
  • Awesome trails and little lake! New shelter with nice bathrooms. Great place to park for the Green Circle bike trail!
