  • loved it and I will be back again. The staff were friendly and the material was very interesting. I'll be back.  more »
  • First class and we’ll worth the $10.00 admission fee. The gorge itself is the star of the show. From geology to Native Americans, pioneers, up to the present day. Artifacts, machines, 2 short movies.....  more »
  • So many cool exhibits that tell the story of the natives as well as the explorers who brought civilization to the northwest. Amazing artifacts and so much literature to get lost in. There are a total of 3 stories to this museum. Each floor displays different eras. There's even local exhibits with Mt. Saint Helens and the fire of 2017. Highlights are the rosary collection, as well as the airplane. Even the outdoor "junkyard" is amazing, that display so many cool vehicles and train cars. A very cool place for all ages. You'll get lost in the information if you are into the history of this amazing Columbia Gorge.
  • I enjoyed the displays & talks. I expected more information about indigenous peoples. There is an exhibit but the interactive, dynamic parts of the museum are more about the ingenuity of the settlers than the culture that existed before that. It seemed especially egregious that the "Spiritual Quest" section was about Eastern religion & Roman Catholicism. Not a word about the native practices.
