  • I've been coming here pretty much my whole life, and they've kept up with the park very well. We just got a park pass so that we can come here even more often. Don't miss out on the second half of the park which has a separate entrance. There are lakes, walking/biking paths, an archery range, pavilions, and camping. Lots of open space to explore!
  • I really enjoyed myself at this park. Entrance is $5 per car, but worth it if you wanted to spend all day there. It's very kid friendly and has lots of open field for the kids to play. It has a nice little playground which was centered near picnic tables so that you can watch the kids play while you relax. There were grills and a nice amount of trash cans throughout the area. It had pleasant bathrooms with soap. There was a woodsy, but cute trail that had two overlooks of a stone mountain side. There was also an indoor ac'd nature center that the kids were able to enjoy. The only thing I didn't like were the plethora of ants. It must have been ant season, because they were all over the picnic tables.
