Our bier is brewed on the grounds of Trapp
Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont,
this lager is crafted with the finest
traditional ingredients and our pure
Vermont spring water.
Inspired by the quality brewing
heritage of his ancestral homeland of
Austria, Johannes von Trapp has built a
world class brewery on the grounds of his family’s lodge in the pristine mountains of Stowe, Vermont. Using traditional Austrian brewing techniques, our master brewer
creates pure, clean beer with amazingly
complex flavor profiles.
Of course, everyone
says they use the finest ingredients and so
do we, but few can say they use their own natural resources. We do. You can taste the difference. This beer is brewed on the grounds of the Trapp Family Lodge, using pure Vermont spring water from right here on our own property. The Oktoberfest is very good. I recommend getting a flight so you can sample all of their various brews (4 for $7). The food menu is extensive, but you can't go wrong with the pretzels with beer cheese. This brewery is huge and would be able to accommodate a large party quite easily! The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Parking is free and they have EV chargers.
My husband told me good things about this place so we decided to try it for dinner. The food was delicious. I loved the chicken schnitzel and my husband enjoyed his bratwurst sandwich. My son ate a lot of his mac & cheese and fries plus milk. I wish I had made room for dessert. This place is kid friendly since I saw other families with small children. There was a grassy area near the outdoor seating where you could play corn hole or go explore the pond nearby. It's a place I'd like to visit again.
