This is best place in the US to see such a great assortment of locomotives on static display. There are also several really nice model layouts to run. Some interactive displays for kids.

Very cool museum. We went so my son could earn his BSA Railroading merit badge through their workshop. The staff and volunteers were very knowledgeable and enjoyed answering questions from the boys. It was neat seeing the old locomotives and train cars. My son already asked when we can go back again. We got there right when it opened and the line wasn't that long. However, at lunch time it looked like people had a longer wait. Thomas the tank engine was across the street at the railroad, so that might have affected how busy the museum was.

Great place to go if you like trains or you know someone who does. There are lots of trains to view. Some trains have stairs that allow you to see inside the trains. Others have QR codes you can scan for more information and pictures. The museum is really focused on Pennsylvania train history. You can walk through it in less than 2 hours.
