  • Went snowmobiling at night and it was AMAZING! Mike was our tour guide. He did a great job explaining everything for those of us that were new at it. I got comfortable with it pretty quickly and even caught air on a hill so that was pretty awesome! The place is easy to find and had an efficient process to get you geared up to go. Everything was safe and organized.
  • The main village is expensive for food, but is to be expected for a fancier family friendly experience. I spent some good time around the main lodge this summer and it was great to take the gondola and hike around. The top of the mountain has stunning views, especially from the platform and fire tower. This winter I came back the first Saturday of school vacation, the crowds were heavy but manageable most likely because the weather was a bit cold and mixed conditions were tough. I saw a few people getting carted off the mountain, the good news is the ski patrol team appeared to be fast at responding and extremely well prepared to help people. Overall I had a great time at Stratton but won't be back till I have an extra $180 lying around for one day of skiing.
