Falling Branch Brewery is a farmhouse brewery located in rural Harford County, Maryland. Small-batch production using hops, barley and other ingredients that we grow ourselves will be used to brew unique, flavorful beers in the styles from the home of the farmhouse brewery, Belgium. With an emphasis on the origin of the “Farmhouse Ale,” Falling Branch Brewery has formulated a variety of Belgian-style beers, incorporating local ingredients and brewing techniques that are distinctly American.

Highland Heights Farm, the home of Falling Branch Brewery, is a small family farm established in 1924. The farm offers scenic rolling hills, antique barns and agricultural attractions including a corn maze, farm animal petting zoo, pumpkin patch, hop yard, games and numerous seasonal events. Also operating at the farm is Hawks Hill Creamery, which has provided artisan cheeses and soft ice cream for over a decade. Together, Falling Branch Brewery and Hawks Hill Creamery offer visitors a myriad of cheese and beer pairings, and make the farm a destination with something to offer to people of all ages.

  • What an amazing place. Family friendly, and just amazing. The food trucks are always good, the selection of beer is always excellent. I love the family friendly atmosphere. The live music is always good. I just cant stop saying good things about this place. The people that staff falling branch are always nice and attentive. You have to try this place out.
  • Went for the first time last weekend and felt it was nothing special whatsoever, unfortunately. Overpriced for sure ($6.50 for that so-so beer in the plastic cup, but hey I wanted to try it) and that food truck served very dry roast beef. I know the brewery will say they are not affiliated with the food truck -- but when they are there, they are representing your brewery. And $7 at the bar for a bag of pretzels? No thank you. Scenery? It's OK. Go to Fiore Winery. Not too far away and much nicer scenery. Between two sandwiches, iced teas, and beer I think we spent $50; maybe more. Just chalking that up to wanting to try the place, but I'll spend that money elsewhere next time.
