  • We visited on a blustery winter day. Wild waves crashing into cliffs; very exciting. Trail along cliff offers beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Nice bathrooms and parking area.

  • We always watch for strong winds off the lake on a sunny day-the rainbow pics from the waves crashing are beautiful. Love coming up early spring or late fall less tourist at that time.

  • First time visiting this park in the handful of times coming to Door County and it was beautiful! We lucked out with big waves coming in from the east on this day, so we were able to watch the waves crash on the shoreline. Beautiful sites and sounds, definitely a place I'd highly recommend checking out! That being said, make sure to keep an eye on your kids if you come as there are trip and slip risks here!
  • This place is wild and wonderful. Incredible views from above of the waves crashing on the rocks at several vantage points. You can feel the deep sounds vibrating through your body, almost like thunder from below. Not for the faint of heart or perhaps for small children, as there are no barriers on the bluffs, and there are even a few surprising spots on the trail with unmarked holes that could put you in a pickle if you fell through! Step with care. But if you like your hikes a tiny bit spicy, this one will reward you with an utterly unique experience. As a county park, it is also free, whereas the state park next door costs money to enter.
