  • Beautiful park, lovely grounds. We rented 3 cabins and were generally happy with them. It is interesting that there are signs all over the cabins warning that if any plates, towels, etc. are missing.....  more

  • So open and beautiful! The river was right there so lots of river fun. The deer could care less that you are there so animal watching was amazing. I'm glad my friend and I went in the middle of the week because i can see it getting crowded on weekends
  • I'm lucky that I live close enough to make day visits to Meramec State Park. I enjoy walking the trails and cooling off in the Meramec River with my dog Loki. Getting Loki out of the water is an adventure all it's own. The trails are well marked and there are several easy foot trail access points to the river. The Campground is well maintained and setup nicely for both tent and RV campers. For those that just want a great picnic area, there are art least two very large areas with a lot of tables and freestanding grills. I personally love the way they've maintained the forest environment of both the picnic and camping areas.
