Received great advice from Sharon at the visitor’s center. Divided the trip into two days. Especially liked the Pintail Wildlife drive where we saw a variety of birds and several alligators. Download.... more

We made our way on the Creole nature trail experience. First stop was here! Will was great, very passionate and explained everything well. We had an amazing time and followed his advice to a T. We saw birds, butterflies, found beans on the seashell beach and saw TONS of gators! We took the ferry and ate at the bright green food truck for some awesome cajun food. The lady working there was great as well but i cant remember her name. Much love from TEXAS!

Took my children to the beach and stopped here first. The lady in charge is amazing and gave us tons of local ideas including where to see pink dolphins and free tours of distilleries and breweries. My grandson loved the racetrack floor and dancing to the zydeco music. Definitely a gem!
