  • One of the smallest of parks but quiet and beautiful. Staff is very friendly. You don't go here to get wowed, but to slow down and relax.  more »
  • Looked great! Cabins looked very nice! Picnic facilities, walking areas, sufficient parking, looked like a good place to have family/friends gatherings!  more »

  • My husband and I love to stay at State Parks. By far James H. Floyd State Park outshines them all. It's small which gives it that home feeling. The head ranger is just awesome. We had just pulled in and the ranger comes by to welcome us and to tell us if we needed anything to let him know. The camp host stays there almost year round and he is friendly also. On the day we were packing up to leave the ranger and camp host walked over to tell us to come back soon which is what we are doing three weeks later. I think we have found our little paradise to visit. Kindness goes a long way and these people know how to show it. Wish I could give it 10 stars!
  • My family and I have visited here every single year for the past 35 or more years. It's changed alot over the years but for the better each time. Such awesome childhood memories and even better memories to come as I get older, I'm sure! We fish, hike, play with our dog, and spend tons of time catching up with family we haven't seen all year.
