Bald Mountain (9150 feet, 2789 m) is a mountain in south central Idaho, adjacent to the city of Ketchum in Blaine County. The mountain has one of the higher summits of the Smoky Mountains of Idaho, located in the Sawtooth National Forest. Went for a long weekend with skiing on saturday. Although they could use more snow the mountain didn't disappoint. I won't wait 20 years between visits. Will be back next year more »
Very steep, probably not appropriate for beginners (and dollar mountain is a little ways away, so you lose some time if you want to switch mountains). But it's very fun! I went when there had been a lot of snow and the powder was good. Not too icy, even in the afternoon it wasn't too bad. Everything here is really expensive though.
Very nice people and we got to go on a ride to the top when it was closed, so nice of them to do that
