  • See photos which say it all. Autumn with leaves turning made it even more beautiful. Calm, clear water.  more »
  • Lake is peaceful and I get to see Stephen Tylers the singers House.(The one with a Red rood top). You can lisen to the music and just have a peaceful day.  more »
  • Super clean, no rocks or bugs or anything, never crowded--honestly probably the nicest lake I've ever been to.
  • I've been going there since I was small in the mid-1970s. It is still very family friendly with clean water and beaches, probably because most people go to Lake Winnipesaukee, Squam, and the seacoast for action and adventure. It's much safer for canoeing and kayaking than the larger lakes, and Sunapee has lifeguards at the public areas and Parks & Rec or Fish & Game to ensure it remains fun for everyone.
