  • So I went quite a while ago, 2 or 3 years ago haha. But I've never gotten around to giving a rating, but the experience was so incredible to me that I feel I need to. To be honest, this petting zoo has set the standards too high for any other to reach! I have truly become obsessed with exotic petting zoos since that Spring break vacation haha. It is family owned and therefore less structured, but that made me love it even more! It wasn't crowded, you could interact with nearly all of the animals, and it was such a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere. Many of the animals were exotic and definitely had their own unique personalities, my favorite being the kangaroos and camel. My family and I had had gone the opening day for the year, right after a big storm.. and they hadn't expected anyone due to that, but were very accommodating when we arrived! And when I'd left a voicemail previously to ask about their opening day/hours, they responded to me personally and quickly, giving me the information I needed and apologizing for the inconvenience of the storm (it pushed back the opening date). I was sad to see it was closed for 2016, hoping to sneak off from my summer TN vacation to visit my favorite zoo! Thank you so much for the experience and opportunity!! (:
  • The zoo will be closed the entire 2016 season
