Even with the playhouse and planetarium closed due to COVID, there was plenty to do. We brought our 2 year old. He loved all the live animals, animatronic dinos, and the interactive play centers... more »

We thoroughly enjoyed the interactive and educational exhibits. We also enjoyed an Imax film on superhero dogs. more »

This is a museum where you learn by doing. They have some really fun interactive exhibits. My favorite may be jumping on the trampoline, which made you feel weightless (Gravity Jumper). The interactive sand tables that AR technology were really neat, too. Toothpick World (miniatures made of toothpicks) was amazing to see, as well! A lot of the museum was just really, really cool. It's worth some of your time when in downtown Syracuse!

So many things for kids and grown ups alike. The iMax was amazing, and all of the exhibits are great. Would love to see more sources of energy discussed though in the energy display, especially nuclear as it's an extremely viable zero carbon source of energy, and three reactors directly north of Syracuse providing safe reliable electricity to upstate New York
