Rose Garden is nice, but at the beginning of August has minimal flowers left. Up the hill from there is a beautiful one surrounded by flowers. The park is in good shape, with a well endowed play structure down the one-way road that runs down it. As you exit the park there is a good sized pool that seems well maintained.
