  • Just bought our annual membership. The new aquarium is awesome! They now have hammerhead sharks with huge stingrays! I love this zoo as it has breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. The staff could've been a bit nicer to some of the volunteers as I overheard one of them getting on to someone about not having a belt or shirt tucked in. But overall I've only had positive experiences here! Highly recommended for a good time!
  • A lovely, educational zoo. Well laid out with beautiful grounds and welcoming staff. Educational talks throughout the day and lots of learning about conservation and sometimes rescue of animals. They have a really fun playground for children as well. Bring a picnic as there are many places to sit and enjoy the park. Outside food is allowed and water refill stations are plentiful. Parking is good and free. The property is a bit steep ( on an incline) yet people on scooters and wheelchairs are able to get around on the many ramps and a few elevators. We spent about 6 hrs there as we wanted to see everything.
