Love this local beach park. There's a lovely, large, grassy area for games and picnics. Grills are available as well. The kids love going to the splash pad. The beach is fun for beachcombing and wading/swimming. The hubby and I have taken out inflatable rafts out for a paddle recently and had a wonderful time.
Lots of parking. Large committed area with tables, water features, open green lawn, and covered bbq areas. Abuts railroad tracks so watch for trains. Walking path along the waterfront. Clean area and I felt safe. View across the water is wonderful and good food in addition to pub are right across the street. Great for solo and families.
