Aurora Dora, Talkeetna

I visited Aurora Dora’s shop in March 2022 and loved every one of her stunning portraits of the northern lights. I was blessed in that she arrived on sight and readily helped me narrow down my favorites by happily pulling them off the display and lining them up side by side. She knows every photos history and can recall every detail of the photos origin, which makes one feel as though you were present at the moment of the stunning capture. I purchased two of the metal imposed images. They shipped free of charge (an unexpected and appreciated bonus) and arrived in about 10 days expertly packaged & in perfect condition. I absolutely love them! *Side story- I had also purchased a pair of northern light earrings which I wore in the airport and promptly lost one on the airplane ride home. As I was on a tour at the time, my tour Director, (who knows Dora personally), reached out to her with this sad tail. Dora then offered to mail me a replacement earrings! I think this speaks highly of her, and just goes to prove what a kind, thoughtful and caring person she is. She truly cares. ❤️ I highly recommend that you stop by if you happen to be in her neck of the woods you will not be disappointed! And even if you’re not, get on the her website and purchase one of her photos!

I love, love, LOVE Dora's images of the aurora. Every trip to Alaska, I end up buying more of her images for my collection! Her images are spectacular and she can tell you the story about every picture on the walls of her cute cabin store. This past February (2023), I also bought my daughter, Danielle, a private workshop with Dora, to learn how to take better pictures of the aurora. Danielle learned a lot about the auroras and her specific camera and lens set up, and enjoyed her time learning from Dora. If you ever visit Telkeetna, you should definitely drop in and check out her store, and I highly recommend her workshops as well!
