  Nice falls in a beautiful gorge. It is a great place to get in a nice hike and have great views. Would like to go during the season change to see all the colors.  more »

  Found just by driving through the area. Stopped and took a walk and even took some video. I have shared with others to let them know. We are even planning a return trip on motorcycle.  more »

  This is so spectacular but at the same time you have to be very careful with slippery boulder rocks. You have to be in shape if you want to go down to the Gorge....period!!! Sliding Rock trail on your wait out is brutal.... seriously!! But this one in a lifetime adventure. Peace!

  These are the only falls in NC where you can drive right up, get out of the car and walk over to see the falls. The falls are 60 ft tall and they don’t have a ton of water but they are a must see and worth the stop. The Dry Falls are just a couple minute drive down the road and those are spectacular. If you look along the roadside where the water flows through it looks like fools gold in the soil.
