The park's new playground features an interactive NEOS 360 Ring, which combines video games with aerobic exercise and is the first of its kind in the southeast United States.
A section of the Riverwalk runs through the park connecting the David Straz Performing Arts Center to the Glazer Children's Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art.
Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park Reviews
Looking at the University of Tampa as the back drop, this is a great place to hang out! Several festivals are held here and in the winter, they bring in ice skating! Fun! more »
refreshing place to go when they have events there. Beautiful view of the river and Univ of Tampa. great sunset/rise more »
This is a very nice park. For St. Patrick's day, they dyed the water green! It was very pretty and very cool. The park is downtown, right next to the museum. It seems to be dog friendly too as there were a lot of people with their dogs! A nice place to go on a pretty day!
Great open space to chill while eating lunch. You can check out Four Green Fields for a beer in the park as well. It's a really cool place to hang out when there are free events going on. Entertainment, food trucks, and beer! Something for everyone!
